Since 2018, our online Christmas tree sales website has been taking action for nature. To make our company more eco-friendly and in harmony with our planet, we partner with Graine de Vie, which plants ten trees in Madagascar for every Christmas tree sold. What does the Graine de Vie association do?

Graine de Vie is an eco-responsible association that offsets carbon footprints by planting trees and expanding nurseries. Graine de Vie's current plantations are located in Madagascar's national park. The association also plays a role in raising awareness for environmental causes and sustainability. It trains nursery workers and sets up innovative, unifying projects. Another goal of the association is to include women in the implementation of these projects at the local level. The European members who work on-site with locals are all volunteers, while the association's projects require the employment of many indigenous day laborers. Furthermore, Graine de Vie contributes to biodiversity. The trees planted are primarily fruit trees that provide a sustainable and essential income for the local economy.

We are proud to have been an eco-partner of this NGO, which employs nearly 400 people for the reforestation of Madagascar.
