“Belgian Christmas tree” can mean many things: sold in Belgium, packed in Belgium… For us, it means one simple thing: the tree grew on a Belgian plantation. It was planted there young, tended and pruned season after season, then cut and prepared for you.
Wallonia is one of Europe's major Christmas tree growing regions. According to Apaq-W, it produces around 2 million trees a year, nearly 85% of which are exported. Production is concentrated mainly in Luxembourg province and the south of Namur province. In other words, excellent Christmas trees grow right here. You just need to be able to buy one without it taking a detour.

The Nordmann fir (Abies nordmanniana) originates from the Caucasus. It is the species that comes from far away, not our trees: the ones we sell were grown in Belgium. It is popular all over Europe for its qualities: soft needles that don't prick, dense foliage and excellent needle retention indoors.
